Tour Overview

Experience Sri Lanka’s cultural heartland and wildlife in just over a week. This tour takes you through ancient Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa, where you’ll explore centuries-old ruins and temple complexes. Visit sacred sites in Kandy, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic, and explore the cool climate of Nuwara Eliya.

Cap it off with an early morning safari at Udawalawe National Park, home to large elephant herds and diverse birdlife. This route balances historical exploration with natural beauty, ending at Negombo for easy airport access on departure day.

Highlights

Day 01

Welcome to Paradise Island through Colombo international airport.
Warmly welcome by our airport representative and the guide.
Will be driven to Negombo (Approx. transfer Time: 20 Mins).
Check-in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02

After breakfast at the hotel leave for Sigiriya.
On the way to Sigiriya visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala.
Check-in to hotel at Sigiriya and relax.

Day 03

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning proceed to Polonnaruwa.
Afternoon climb Sigiriya rock fortess.
Back to hotel and spend the rest of the day leisure.

Day 04

Breakfast at hotel.

Proceed to Dambulla Rock Cave Temple.
Thereafter leave for Kandy.
En-route visit a Spice Garden in Matale.
Check-in to hotel at Kandy.
Evening proceed to visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing.
